Directed by Daniele Luchetti, Call Me Francesco traces the life of Jorge Mario Bergoglio from his youth in Buenos Aires through the years of Argentina’s dictatorship and his eventual election as Pope. As Key Makeup Artist, Dalia Colli supported the passage of time and the different stages of the characters’ lives, keeping ages, settings and transformations credible. The makeup reinforces the film’s historical dimension while preserving the human and spiritual intimacy at the heart of the story.
