In The Traitor, Marco Bellocchio reconstructs the life of Tommaso Buscetta and the decision that changed the history of Cosa Nostra. The film moves across years, countries and identities, following Pierfrancesco Favino from his escape to Brazil to his meetings with Judge Giovanni Falcone. As Key Makeup Artist, Dalia Colli contributed to the credibility of the transformations and the characters’ historical continuity. The makeup work, developed with prosthetic designer Lorenzo Tamburini, received a 2020 David di Donatello nomination.
